Our Innovation Project: Water Leak Detection using Optical Fiber
Water management is a major issue on a global scale. Water losses caused by leaks in distribution networks are costly and have a considerable environmental impact. In this context, our innovation project focuses on creating an advanced water leak detection solution using optical fiber.
Our main objective of this project is to develop targeted water leak detection technology that is faster and more cost-effective than traditional methods. We aim to reduce water losses, improve the efficiency of water distribution networks and contribute to the preservation of natural resources.
Our solution is based on the integration of optical fibers into the water distribution network. These optical fibers will be able to detect variations in pressure and flow in the network. When a leak occurs, these variations will be captured by the optical fibers and analyzed in real time. An alert will be generated as soon as an anomaly is detected, allowing an immediate reaction to immediately resolve the problem.
